Leisa Dennehy is a powerhouse of strategic and competitive thinking. She quickly synthesizes science and business knowledge into focused actions that drive corporate success in shaping or reshaping brands and operations.
Leisas experience ranges from biophysics research in academia to international commercial strategy in big pharma. She has 21 years experience in health care with the commercial side of major multinational organizations such as Procter & Gamble, Glaxo, and GlaxoWellcome and biotech companies in a variety of analytic, tactical and strategic roles in domestic and international positions. Leisa also has several years of experience in international mid-level executive positions, and she comfortably spans countries and levels in organizations to garner buy-in at the top and galvanize action within multi-functional or multi-cultural teams. She is well balanced with academic credentials that include undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Medical Technology from Miami University, an MBA from Dukes Fuqua School of Business and a certificate in Organizational Development from University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
Leisa is best known for her intense focus in meeting objectives and moving the needle on performance expectations such as time-to-market readiness, speed of response to market actions, and her creative sometimes heretical approaches to managing brands and assets.
Leisa is co-founder of BioPharma Consultants, Ltd. and managing director of the BioPharma Strategies Group operating company. She currently helps clients ranging in scope from small biotech startups to international operating companies in big pharma. In her spare time, Leisa nurtures her two children, husband and gardens in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
